Sneakers at about 2 months. Early on, he couldn't get on the bed by himself, so we helped him up.

Sneakers at 8 months - first Christmas. He was fascinated with the tree.

Whenever he can find one, Sneakers enjoys a sunbeam. Here he basks in front of a window.

In cold weather, Sneakers enjoys the warm spot on the floor, next to the chimney.

Sneakers learned early on that when stuff comes out of the dryer, it is warm. He waits for a basket to arrive and takes advantage.

Sneakers enjoys some quality time with Susan Robinson, his illustrator. On May 16, 2009, when this picture was taken, neither Sneakers nor Susan was 100%, both having had recent surgery.
